A blue ocean for the IT industry investment Poland

Although the post-Corona economic recovery remains slow, investment in Poland last year reached a record high.

Investors are interested in Poland as a blue ocean for IT investment.

Compared to Western European countries, Poland has been behind economically.

Why is Poland now attracting attention in the IT field?

The first reason is the abundance of IT talent, which has led to high expectations.

It is estimated that there are currently more than 430,000 IT professionals in Poland. This is the largest in the Central and Eastern European area.

Globally, Polish programmers are highly regarded.

In the "Which country has the best developers?" ranking, Poland ranks third after China and Russia.

The contribution of recent developments in higher education to this result can be very strong.

There are about 1.3 million students studying in Polish universities. Many of them major in the sciences (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), and a high percentage of them find employment in professional fields after graduation.

The percentage of English speakers and their level of proficiency is also high.

In EF's ranking of non-native English speakers, the country ranks 16th out of 112 countries with a "High proficiency" rating.

Government Support for Foreign Investment

Poland's Special Economic Zones, which began in 2018, are available throughout the country to provide assistance to new investments, boosting the growth of the investment situation.

Last year, 2021, a record amount of investment was recorded in the country.

The total investment was 3.5 billion euros and this investment generated 18,000 employment.
