E-DELIVERY. The time limit for obligatory implementation in companies is approaching
According to the currently applicable provisions of law, as of 1st April 2025, any and all business entities registered with the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy – KRS) shall be obliged to have an ‘e-Delivery’ mailbox.
What are e-Deliveries?
e-Delivery, also bearing the RDE acronym, is a registered electronic delivery service. It is a digital equivalent of a registered letter, allowing safe and binding communication between public institutions, entrepreneurs and citizens. Ultimately, the service is to replace the ePUAP platform.
According to the Act, e-Delivery has the same legal effect as traditional mail (paper) correspondence. Postal receipt and receipt acknowledgment of electronic mail may be generated in a PDF format, which constitutes the proof of sending or receiving the registered electronic mail.
