Korea-Poland Economic Forum
The Korea-Poland Economic Forum was held in Warsaw on July 14. The Forum organised by Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), KOTRA Warsaw, and by the Federation of Korean Industries brought together in large numbers representatives of business, politics and science from both countries. The opening speeches of the ceremony were delivered by the President of the Republic of Korea - Mr Suk Yeol YOON and the President of the Republic of Poland – Mr Andrzej Duda.
Success of Korea-Poland Economic Forum
Forum was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Polish-Korean Strategic Partnership and to strengthen economic cooperation between our countries, specifically in such areas as advanced technologies, electromobility, nuclear power, infrastructure and defence. The topics to be discussed during the Forum are, among other things:

✴ Artificial Inteligence
✴ ReBuild Ukraine
In the successful talks in the "Poland-Korea Business Partnership 2023", entrepreneurs from both countries were supported by our excellent team of interpreters from Tias Korean Desk. Attendance success of the Forum, over 30 cooperation agreements signed during the event, as well as the exceptional commitment of the participants is the best evidence of how dynamically relations between our countries are expanding and we are proud that Tias is contributing to this process as well.

Labor Code: new amendments strengthening the principle of equal pay for men and women
On June 4, 2025, a law was passed amending the Polish Labor Code. These amendments are intended to partially implement into Polish law Directive (EU) 2023/970 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 May 2023, which aims to strengthen the principle of equal pay for men and women performing the same work or work of equal value – through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms.
Planned changes to National Labor Inspectorate (PIP) regulations
On September 1, 2025, the Government Legislative Center (Rządowe Centrum Legislacji) published a draft bill amending the regulations governing the National Labor Inspectorate (PIP). The main objective of the proposed amendments is to significantly strengthen PIP’s authority in overseeing compliance with labor law.
KSeF – Act signed by the President
On Wednesday, 27 August 2025, the President of the Republic of Poland signed the Act introducing the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF). This confirms that the obligation to implement KSeF will indeed take effect. We would like to highlight the most important information below:
